The Handbook of Applied Ethics introduces significant debates in practical ethics, clarifies the most important concepts and provides examples of certain arguments. The handbook also includes practical exercises and questions for discussion that help the reader to contemplate on their standpoints and equip them with concepts and arguments for participation in the debates. The book aims to offer background knowledge and enhance discussion skills to enable the reader to form their opinion on issues of practical ethics, make well-advised decisions and present and defend these convincingly. Students of secondary schools and introductory courses in universities can use the Handbook of Applied Ethics as a textbook.
