Turning Point: Ethics and Values in a Time of Change explores the transformations that have taken place in Estonia and around the world over recent decades through the lens of ethics and values. Societal change is neither linear nor always directed towards a single outcome. Ethics helps us recognise which values are at stake, what should be preserved, and where new balances need to be found. What choices does Estonia face in a turbulent world shaped by the transformative age of artificial intelligence? The book brings together the voices of distinguished public figures, scholars and practitioners, cultural thinkers and philosophers, each offering their own perspective and providing readers with rich material for reflection.
