The publication of this book has been supported by the Ministry of Education and Research through the programme “Shaping a Values-Based Educational Culture in Local Governments to Support the Transition to Estonian-Language Education.”

The bilingual book includes three articles on values education translated into Russian, which were previously published in the book “Analysis of Values Development for Advanced. Handbook for Schools and Kindergartens” (2021), as well as the Good Kindergarten Model and the Group Teacher Self-Analysis Model developed by the Centre for Ethics at the University of Tartu. The Estonian- and Russian-language texts are presented in parallel so that readers who are more proficient in Russian can familiarize themselves with Estonian values-education terminology. At the end of the book, there is a short glossary of key definitions.
